Tamzin Merchant as Daenerys Targaryen

One cast member who seems to be very much looked forward to be some of the ASOFAI fans is Tamzin Merchant, it seems to be more of the men than the girls though…. I have no idea why that may be the case.

Anyway Tamzin is a young but not inexperienced actress who has been involved in some serious projects.  She got her break by performing the part of Georgiana Darcy in 2005 Pride and Prejudice, which stared Keira Knightley. However she has become most prominent for her role in the  TV Drama Tudors as Catherine Howard.

She was born in England in 1987( boy im getting old ), and has lived in both England and Dubai in the UEA. As well as her acting career she is currently studying at Cambridge University , after deferring university twice due to acting commitments.

She is a consummate all rounder being able to play the piano (which she did in pride and prejudice), has modelled  and is a writer of poetry with to published works, “Ode to a Toilet” and Where Does Revenge Stop?”.

Like most starting actresses she has spent some time working in music videos(for Jamie T, and groove armada ) and TV series in more minor and major roles. However we think he role as Catherine in the Tudors and her young looks are what place her perfectly for the role of Daenerys Targaryen.
